To: Ultrasound Daily Digest Blaah, yesterday I wrote a message where I complained the delays of Gravis shipping to Telemart.. Well, of course I misread (in a hurry) and misunderstood the date in the fax. So: Telemart expects to get their shipment November 12th, not December 11th.. Sorry! (Anyway, I don't like that Gravis delays the shipment weekly, and it really is delayed by Gravis, not Telemart's suppliers) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 7 Nov 92 20:08:14 MST From: ddebry@itchy (Dave DeBry) Message-Id: <9211080308.AA27418@itchy> Subject: Digest Admin: Small Request from the Digest Owner To: Ultrasound Daily Digest To whomever sent those MIDI files to the Digest, thank you. However, in the future, could you please mail them to the owner (me!) instead of the digest. I'll put them up on the request server, and whoever wants to get them can. I'll try to maintain a mirror of the files available from the request server in the ultrasound/request directory. I do not have the gigabytes of anonymous FTP space that cica, wuarchive, and company have, so I cannot maintain an extensive archive of digitized copies of the theme to Get Smart and such. I can, however, devote a few tens of megabytes to maintaining ultrasound related demos, information and utilities. If anyone has copies of digest number 2 or 3 that they would like to e-mail me I will make them available. -- Adam Iles Fractals: EPAS Computing, University of Toronto The tie-dye of the 90's adam@epas.utoronto.ca ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 7 Nov 92 12:21:18 MST From: kdorff@NMSU.Edu Message-Id: <9211071922.AA15022@NMSU.Edu> Subject: Sierra and KQ6 To: Ultrasound Daily Digest Does anyone have recommendations for using Kings Quest 6 with the Ultrasound? Just running "sbos" it sounds kinda bad. I got onto Sierra's BBS (209-683-4463) and mailed them asking when an Ultrasound driver would be released. Hope to hear back soon. Once we find that out, then we can call Gravis directly (be > sure to ask for Chris Yuzik ;-) and find out from the horse's mouth > when the fraggin' cards will be shipping! Well, this is what Telemart said in the fax: "I just wanted you to know that there is a delivery problem on the Advanced Gravis Ultrasound boards. The problem is not from our suppliers but from the manufacturers themselves. The expect date for delivery on this item is 11-12-92, but unfortunately we really can not guarantee this date as it has changed several times within the last few weeks." So Telemart claims it IS a problem of Gravis, I don't know who to belive... ------------------------------ End of Ultrasound Daily Digest V1 #13 ******************************
