Can some guru see if he/ she can make them work with warcraft ? Got the from the cd-rom demo of Deathgate. Before I begin, I will apologize in advance for those who genuinely have made a mistake when replying to a question or comment on the digest..... STOP RE-SUBMITTING THE DIGEST EVERY TIME YOU REPLY TO SOMETHING!!!!!!! DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT INCLUDE 'ORIGINAL MESSAGE' IN YOUR REPLIES!!!!! I HAVE BEEN ON THIS MAILING LIST FOR 2 YEARS NOW AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS MANY OCCURENCES OF REPOSTING BEFORE. THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING BEFORE YOU HIT THE SEND COMMAND DAMMIT!!! NO ONE HAS THE TIME (OR MONEY) TO RE-READ THE DIGEST OVER AND OVER BECAUSE SOME IDIOT INCLUDED THE WHOLE THING IN THEIR 5 LINE RESPONSE... Have a nice day! :-) Kevin ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 3 Dec 1994 00:45:13 -0800 (PST) From: Vince - IE - Experimental Mail Server Admin Acct Subject: Apologies about the massive flood of digests Hello fellow GUS Users, I am very sorry for the massive flood of digests that was coming all from mcimail.com, apparently, it seems like some idiot has also subscribed the digest address to the list so that is why you may see doubles of some stuff that bounced back. Anyways, Hopefully I fixed it now. If this happens again, can someone try to email me the message of the address that bounced or whatever and I'll remove it from the last so this doesn't happen again the next day. Thanks. Sorry for the delay as I was busy for the last few days. A 5 minute download on a 14.4K ? Come on people, this is not the way to use this valuable resource. Instead of replying and cutting hundreds of lines, just make a new message, say your bit and then be done with it. None of us require 10 copies of the same digest. Anyhow, i agree with a few others out there: I no longer wish to continue this sh-t if it going to continue. I've gotten alot of good help and advice on various matters from this digest and the people who frequent it, but this is insane. But then again I believe that these people have the newer Sound Blaster cards. I don't know if a GUS would work or not. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 2 Dec 1994 15:27 -0500 From: DANTONIO@PROCESS.COM (Momentary Language, Sexual Situations) Subject: Multiple digests and OS/2 drivers... Ok, Vince, this is out of control; shutdown the digest and fix it or scrap it. I don't need 6439 line mail messages. And, no doubt, we'll get one tomorrow with 8 copies of today's digest... Ok, Gravis, this is also out of control. Post definitive status for OS/2 drivers and, equally important, what features they will support. When contacted, your tech support folks said, "They are on schedule for an end-of-year release." When asked about features, I was told they didn't have a spec sheet on them. IF they are on schedule, then SOMEONE ought to know what fesatures are there (since they've supposedly been working on them since May/June). None of this stuff is rocket science, folks.
